FOUR YEAR OLDS AND VPK
VPK classrooms
Ready for
the Next Big Step
In our Voluntary Pre-K (VPK) classrooms, we prepare kids for kindergarten—and life—with hands-on academics, social-emotional learning, and structured play. Our experienced teachers focus on building confidence, independence, and a love of learning. Plus, our VPK program is state-funded!
We generally follow the Seminole County calendar, scheduling classes 2/3 days a week to meet state requirements of 540 educational hours at no cost. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are provided at no cost, and wrap-around care is available for families who need a full day of support.

The Perfect Balance of
Learning & Play
From ABCs to garden adventures, our VPK kids learn through a joyful mix of play, creativity, and hands-on projects. We build early academic skills, spark curiosity, and encourage kindness - so they’re ready to shine in school and beyond.
A typical day in the 4 year old room includes:
Kindergarten Ready and Beyond
Our VPK program is designed to build strong foundations in literacy, math, and critical thinking while also developing independence, confidence, and a love of learning. Children leave our program not only prepared academically, but ready to navigate a classroom environment, follow routines, and build meaningful relationships.
A Full Day of Support
For families who need more than part-day care, we offer seamless wrap-around options that extend before and after VPK hours. Children remain in a familiar, consistent environment throughout the day, reducing transitions and creating a more comfortable, secure experience for both children and parents.
Opportunities to Explore More
Learning doesn’t stop at the basics. We provide opportunities for enrichment and extended experiences that allow children to dive deeper into their interests, explore new ideas, and continue building confidence. These moments help children discover what they love while preparing them for the next stage of their educational journey.
